There are three major credit reporting companies:  Experian, TransUnion, and Equifax.

This is the federally mandated program that you may have heard about.  There is no charge for you to receive your credit bureau report.  You will NOT need to use any credit or debit card.  There are no catches or tricks.  You will find it very easy to order your report, it will take you only about five minutes.

You can order one FREE report from EACH company per year.  So, you could get one free report every four months.

We believe that you should not order your credit report until after you have been pre-approved for your new car wash loan.  In this way you can fine-tune your personal financial statement after the pre-approval, but just before the formal loan application.  You will be able to see what the finance company or bank is seeing.  Before submitting the formal application we can determine which of the three reports you need to order so that it matches the report that the target lender receives.
